In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jennifer Lawrence said she’d be open to a nude scene in her next film.
The Oscar-nominated actress said she has always liked scenes in which nudity was a natural part of her characters.
“It’s just part of who I am,” Lawrence said.
“I think there are a lot of actors out there who are just willing to embrace the idea that there’s something about naked bodies that’s really interesting.”
It’s been a long time since Jennifer Lawrence has spoken publicly about her nude scenes.
In the 2014 film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, the Hunger Games actress was asked about nude scenes and her opinion of them in a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything).
“I’ve never been in a movie where there’s a nude shot of me,” she said.
In 2015, Lawrence was asked if she was ever bothered by the fact that nude scenes were “over-the-top” or “glorified” in films.
“Nude scenes in films are over-the in them, and I’m glad they’re over-done, because they’re glorified,” she replied.
“But I do understand why people want to see them.
They feel good. “
And they’re good.
They feel good.
I’ve been in lots of films where I think the nudity is over-top, and it’s great, but I don’t think it’s necessary.
It’s a fun thing for people to do.”
In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2016, Lawrence said her nudity scenes were not “tough or heavy”.
“Nude is the most normal thing you can do in movies,” she explained.
“Even the most violent scenes in movies are the most natural thing you could do.”
In the same interview, she also talked about the idea of nude scenes in her films, saying that “they’re something that you can just embrace”.
“I have no problem being nude in a scene, because I’m doing it because it’s so natural and it feels right,” she told the magazine.
“You know, I think it works.
I think people find it exciting and different and different.
I’m sure some people find a naked scene to be boring.”
