Microsoft today released a short video introducing the Xbox Live app for Apple TV, which will soon be available for the platform.
The app will allow users to log in to the Xbox app and play games on their Apple TV or Apple TV Stick.
The feature, called “Xbox Live Down,” will be available to everyone in the coming days, according to Microsoft.
It will be a feature that will also work with the new Xbox app on the iPad and iPod touch, which are both coming out on March 11.
“We want everyone to be able to enjoy their favorite gaming content with the Xbox App on their new Apple TV and Apple TV device,” said Matt Britt, Xbox VP and general manager for Xbox.
“This will give everyone the ability to enjoy the Xbox gaming experience on the newest and most powerful Apple TV.”
The new feature, which comes to Apple TVs in March, will also be available on Apple TV devices running iOS 9.0 or later, which is the latest version of iOS available for Apple devices.
Microsoft previously said that the new feature will be compatible with all Apple TVs with the XBox app.
Users can use the Xbox Game Pass service to add a game to their Apple TVs library, as well as purchase additional games on the Apple TV.
“Xbox Game Pass allows you to enjoy a variety of popular games from the Apple ecosystem, and we are excited to bring Xbox Game Access to our Xbox App for everyone to enjoy,” Britt said.
